Rise & Shine Women in Media Breakfast Series Comes to Cape Town

For more than two years, the fraymedia Foundation has hosted the Rise & Shine Women in Media Breakfast Series in Johannesburg — intimate gatherings bringing together 20–30 women in media, advocacy and business, both emerging and established, to connect with peers, potential mentors, funders, and inspiring speakers.

This month, in partnership with TEKANO, we’re bringing Rise & Shine Women in Media Breakfast Series to Cape Town!

Our first Cape Town breakfast is featuring Paula Fray, CEO of the fraymedia Foundation, in conversation with Gabriella Razzano, renowned researcher, lawyer, and digital rights advocate. Together, they will explore the future of media and the impact of AI — how technology is reshaping journalism, storytelling, and leadership.

The event offers an opportunity to network with other women media leaders and Rise & Shine Fellows while gaining insights and connections that strengthen your professional journey.
